Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Nakoda. Below outlines our official return, exchange, and refund policy applicable to all orders placed through our store. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms listed below.

General Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging. You will also need to provide the receipt or valid proof of purchase. All return requests must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.

If your return is accepted, return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund on all approved standard returns. Items sent back to us without first submitting a return request and obtaining confirmation will not be accepted or processed.

Damages, Defects & Order Issues

Please carefully inspect your order upon reception. If your item is defective, damaged, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can evaluate and resolve the issue promptly. Damage or defect claims submitted after the 48-hour window may not be eligible for return, replacement, or compensation.

For items that arrive damaged or defective due to our factory or shipping error: return shipping costs will be fully covered by Nakoda, and the 10% restocking fee will be completely waived.

If you receive the wrong item, we will ship the correct item immediately at no additional cost. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for the incorrect item, which must be returned within 7 days of receiving the label. Failure to return the wrong item within this timeframe will result in a charge for the unreturned goods.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

All automotive film products sold by the foot, including window tint film, nano ceramic window film, TPU/TPH clear PPF, TPU matte PPF, chameleon window film, PET TPU car vinyl wrap, headlight film, and windshield protection film
Custom orders, customized size cutting products, and special batch orders
Discounted sale items and promotional clearance products

Exchanges

If you ordered the incorrect film type, tint percentage, roll width, size, or specification, we support product exchanges within policy terms. To initiate an exchange request, please contact us at victoli187@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for an exchange, the item must be unused, unopened, and kept in its original sealed packaging. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your replacement order.

Exchange Policy Terms:

Restocking Fee: Waived for all approved exchanges
Return Shipping: Customer’s responsibility
Replacement Shipping: Charged at our standard shipping rates

Please note that all non-returnable items listed above are also non-exchangeable.

Refunds

We will notify you via email once we have received and inspected your returned items, and inform you whether your refund request is approved or rejected. If approved, the refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus the applicable 10% restocking fee (if any).

Please note that bank or credit card companies may require additional processing time to post the refund to your account, which is beyond our control. If you do not receive your refund within 15 business days after our approval, please contact our support team at victoli187@gmail.com for further assistance.
